Brittany and Bradleyβs wedding day was a beautiful celebration of love, resilience, and cherished moments
September Β 11, Β 2020
Β In the heart of Pittsburgh, PA, the couple exchanged vows at The Rotunda at The Pennsylvanian, surrounded by an intimate gathering of loved ones. Their wedding was a testament to the power of connection, even in challenging times.
Brittanyβs journey to finding the perfect gown was an adventure that took her from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Pittsburgh, and New York. After narrowing it down to two stunning dresses at Kinsley James in LA, she still felt something was missing. It was during a final appointment in Walnut Creek, with her mother by her side, that her consultant suggested a dress that combined the elements she loved from both gowns. The moment she tried on the Rita Vinieris Alyne design, she knewβit was elegant, modern, and perfectly suited for the grandeur of their venue.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the day was the first look on the rooftop of Hotel Monaco. As Brittany and Bradley saw each other for the first time, the weight of the past months melted away, and the reality of their new chapter set in. The entire day was filled with joyful reunions after months of isolation, making every moment even more precious.
Despite the challenges of planning a wedding during COVID, their day was filled with unique and heartfelt touches. Brittanyβs high school friends created a special video for her to watch the morning of the wedding, bringing both laughter and tears. Though her 94-year-old grandmother couldnβt physically be present, she joined via FaceTime, thanks to the help of her homeβs director and Brittanyβs aunt. Her father, a jeweler, was unable to attend but had an irreplaceable presenceβhe had designed and crafted their wedding rings, a meaningful token of his love and blessing.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their closest family and friends took a charming antique bus through Pittsburgh, stopping at iconic locations for photos. One serendipitous moment unfolded at Point State Park, where music from a passing boat inspired Brittany and Bradley to share a spontaneous, joy-filled danceβjust the two of them, soaking in the magic of the day.
Brittany chose to have her gown preserved with Elegance Preserved to honor the significance of their wedding day and its memories. Their expertise in wedding dress preservation ensures that her gown remains pristine, a treasured keepsake for future generations. She also discovered their wedding dress preservation boxes, the perfect way to safeguard her gown for years to come.
