Lena had a beautiful ceremony in St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church. She looked gorgeous in her Francesca Miranda Wedding gown, which was the cherry on the cake.

August 31, 2013

Lena had fun experimenting with her  bridal look. Making sure to sample dresses that ran the gamut in style, length and material. “I had this moment of pause, when it came to my gown. I felt wonderful in it. It was light, airy and youthful. What really helped solidify the choice for instance, was knowing I’d likely never be able to wear something like this again.”

Lena said many thing made her big day stand out, of course. “Our wedding showcased the perfect melding of our Armenian and Palestinian heritages. I so enjoyed performing a special Armenian dance for my husband, for instance. It’s called “Harsi Bar” (Dance of the Bride) from one of our famous operas titled “Anoush.” I’d been dancing with a contemporary Armenian dance company called ARAX Dance for most of my life. It was incredibly special to have my dance family perform at our wedding, as well. ”

As for getting her dress cleaned and preserved. Lena said, “I’m definitely hoping my little girl takes a liking to my dress, of course. I hope whoever wears it next will feel as magical in it as I did. ” We couldn’t think of a better reason to have her Francesca Miranda wedding dress cleaned and preserved.

When asked why she chose to have her gown cleaned and preserved at Elegance. Lena said. ‘We were referred to Elegance Preserved by Nouvelle Vogue Bridal. They are such a trusted source for all things wedding gown-related that I knew I’d be in good hands.’ Which is what we love to hear from our clients
