A Garden of Love: Chantal & Colten’s Joyful Celebration in Big Sur

Amid the towering redwoods and blooming gardens of Loma Vista Gardens in Big Sur, Chantal and Colten promised forever in a celebration alive with beauty, laughter, and unforgettable joy.
Chantal’s gown was a dream in motion—an intricate, romantic, and daring creation by Galia Lahav, purchased at the Galia Lahav Los Angeles boutique. “I saw the fabric on the rack and thought it was absolutely stunning,” she shared. “When I tried on the stock dress, it didn’t fit very well, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. In the end, I took a risk and had it custom made for my body—and it was everything I had dreamed of.”
Her favorite memory wasn’t a grand gesture, but a quiet one—after the wedding, she and Colten stayed up all night talking, unable to stop. “I knew I had found my best friend for life,” she said.
The wedding itself overflowed with personality and fun. “Flowers, flowers, flowers everywhere,” Chantal recalled, arranged in the most organic and breathtaking way. Guests cheered through a dance-off between bride and groom (declared a tie!), and later lifted Chantal into the air, body-surfing style on the dance floor. The night ended with a silent disco, the perfect finale of joy and energy under the stars.
Afterward, Chantal chose to protect her gown—the one she risked having made and loved so dearly—with the care it deserved. She entrusted it to Elegance Preserved, knowing it would be gently cleaned, carefully preserved, and stored in a signature preservation box so that one day, her daughters may wear or reimagine its intricate fabric.
