A Tuscan Dream: Clare & Ross’s Unforgettable Wedding in Florence

June 26, 2022

Clare and Ross said “I do” in one of the most romantic places on Earth—Florence, Italy. Set atop the hills at Villa Le Fontanelle, their wedding was more than just a celebration of love; it was a thoughtfully curated experience that unfolded like a timeless Italian love story, rich in culture, warmth, and meaningful detail.

Clare wore the exquisite Chai gown by Netta BenShabu, found at Kinsley James in LA with the help of her stylist Gabrielle. With a keen eye for design and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, Clare had researched her ideal dress long before stepping into the boutique. “Chai was the first dress I tried on,” she recalls. “I felt incredibly beautiful in it—and when my mother-in-law started crying, I knew it was the one.”

While every part of the wedding weekend was magical, Clare’s favorite moment came after dinner when she and Ross participated in a cherished Italian tradition—assembling their Mille Feuille wedding cake alongside their caterers in front of their guests. It was a sweet symbol of their union and a delicious shared memory under the Tuscan sky.

With a background in textiles and fashion, Clare knew she wanted to honor the artistry of her gown by having it professionally cared for. She chose wedding dress cleaning and preservation through Elegance Preserved, following a trusted referral from Kinsley James. “Given Kinsley James’ high level of quality, service, and my understanding of textiles—I wanted to ensure I chose the most premium service,” she explains. Her gown was lovingly stored in one of their beautiful preservation boxes, so she can enjoy it for a lifetime.
