A Dream Among the Hills: Grace & Matthew’s Mountain Mermaid Wedding

Surrounded by the wild beauty of Topanga Canyon, Grace and Matthew exchanged vows at the enchanting The Mountain Mermaid. With its sunlit terraces and old-world charm, the venue became the perfect canvas for the romantic celebration she had envisioned.

Grace wore a breathtaking gown by Netta Benshabu, discovered on Stillwhite. “I tried on so many dresses in person, but when I saw this dress on another bride online, I instantly knew it was the one. I had never felt so strongly about a dress I hadn’t even tried on,” she shared, remembering the instant spark of certainty.

Her favorite memory was the pure joy of cocktail hour: “Finally, all the stress was gone, and I enjoyed the time with my family and friends with my favorite cocktail.” It was the first moment she could simply be — surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who matter most.

Grace’s wedding was a reflection of her creative spirit. “I planned my wedding with what I like to decorate. From the cocktail poster, menu, the plates for food, etc., everything was decided by me. I worked so hard, and the time I spent preparing and seeing the outcome will be cherished forever.”

When it came to her gown, Grace knew it deserved special care. “I am planning to sell it or keep it so that I can wear it every anniversary,” she said.
