Why did you decide to get your wedding gown preserved by Elegance Preserved? “Best reviews! I knew I could trust them…” Nicole said, “…and they’re from Belmont too :)”
Nicole and Brett were married at the Sir and Star at the Olema in, where else? Olema, CA. The bride wore a beautiful beaded Eliza Jane Howell gown that gave a nod to more of a vintage look. “A former colleague of mine’s mother actually works at Kleinfeld…” recalls Nicole, “…I was in NY for work and on a lark we went at lunch to run through the backroom. I hadn’t tried on any wedding dresses yet, so it was just for fun. Well I tried on the dress and wouldn’t you know it…it was the one. About 10 other bridal shops and probably 50 dresses later, my mom and I flew back to NY so she could see ‘the one’ in person and it was still it.”
Any plans after the big day? “My husband’s aunt and I have a grand plan to make a “wedding dress closet” for all of the future women in the family. Where they can wear or alter any dresses from previous family members.”
In our ‘preservation books’ that makes for a beautiful reason to have your wedding gown preserved!
Nicole and Brett, congratulations on a day that was “perfectly you” and with a hashtag like #tulipsandtaxidermy how could you not expect one big, perfect, party?
Wishing you both a lifetime love and happiness!
