When asked how Romana knew her dress was the one, she said. “When I stepped into my dress, I felt so beautiful and comfortable in my skin! With previous dresses, I loved specific aspects of them but wasn’t sold on the entire dress, however when I put on my dress, I didn’t want to change a single think about it. My dress felt unique and different from anything I had tried on, seen before, or pictured myself wearing, and yet it felt very much like me.”
It was impossible for the happy couple to choose just one special memory from their big day. “The entire day felt like a big warm hug, and it feels impossible to choose one favorite memory from the day. That being said, one of my best friends not only officiated our ceremony, but also sang our first dance and parent dance songs. In those moments, alongside our closest family and friends, you couldn’t help but feel the love and support that surrounded us.”
Romana found familiarity to be the most special part of her big day. “My husband and I got married surrounded by our closest family and friends in the backyard at my family home, where I grew up. Being able to revisit that space, and reflect back on all of the amazing memories that were made that day is such a blessing, and something that I did not realize I would cherish so much prior to our wedding. We had family from four different countries, the only time that all of these people will be together, and to be part of such a beautiful blending of families and cultures was so incredibly special.”
